Always Ms. Congeniality, Mrs. Noel-Stier was a tireless worker in the field of volunteerism. She had been performing at nursing homes and senior citizens gatherings free of charge for years. She had given her time and love to beleaguered kids at the children's hospital in Mountainside; she was a mentor for the Family Services Mentor Program; and a stalwart in the Hospice Program and Special Olympics. She worked with a host of other charities, too numerous to mention. Finally, in 1998, she was rewarded for all of her great works. Mrs. Marti Noel-Stier was presented the Johnson and Johnson Community Service Award. You could say, this was a crowning victory.
