Although family comes first, this is a woman of many talents. Besides her obvious ones of grace and beauty and the ability to weave through more than a thousand songs, she is an excellent Bookkeeper. Marti graduated Lakeland High School, Lakeland Florida. After a successful musical debut in Florida and an abreviated TV career, she left Lakeland and attended Davenport College, a private school for business, Grand Rapids, Michigan (where she made the Dean's list.) She left the small college to earn her degree in Business Management at Indiana University,(where she again made the Dean's list). After marriage and traveling with her new husband to New Jersey on a job relocation assignment, she continued her education right here at Kean University in Union, and Middlesex County College in Edison. She received her accounting degree, however, from Thomas Edison College, Trenton, New Jersey.
